Terms and Conditions

1.    Interpretation
Competition: Entrants are asked to submit photographs via Twitter of roofing projects involving Redland roof tiles and / or components
Competition Entry: Tweeting pictures to @_redland or using the Twitter hashtag #redlandroof

Roofing Project: A refurbishment of an existing roof or the construction of a roof on a new building

2.    The Contract
2.1    The Promoter will decide with the assistance of its PR Company whether or not to progress any entries provided by an Entrant in its absolute discretion
2.2    The Promoter’s decision on whether an Entry is to be used or not is final and the Promoter and the PR Company will decide on whether Entrants are to be considered for the prizes
2.3    One prize available per calendar month
2.4    Prizes will only be awarded to one Entrant at the end of each calendar month except December when the prize will be awarded prior to Monday 22 December
2.5    The Promoter’ decision on the monthly winner is final
2.6    There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part except in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control. The promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.

3    The Prize Offers
One prize is available each month for one person based on one photograph
To qualify for the monthly prize draw, the following conditions must be met:
i.    The photograph must be sent via Twitter
ii.    The photograph must be of a roofing project either in progress or completed
iii.    The photograph must feature only Redland products on the roof and those of no competitor
iv.    All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion or with permission of:
v.    Any entrant or person featured in the photograph must be abiding by all relevant health and safety legislation
vi.    Any person featured in the photograph must have given permission for the photograph to be taken for the purpose of the competition
vii.    All entries for a particular month need to be received by the last working day of each month
viii.    In order to win the monthly prize the entrant must be able to supply the Promoter with a high-resolution copy of the photograph submitted

All entries meeting the criteria outlined above will be entered into a prize draw and one winner will be awarded one £50 voucher each month.
Entrants are limited to winning 5 £50 vouchers over the duration of 18 months but not in consecutive months.
The promoter and PR Company’s decision is final.

4    Liability
4.1    All prizes must be accepted by the last working day of the month following the month the photograph was submitted.
4.2    One winner will be picked from all valid entries received each month and will be notified via Twitter within 28 days of the closing date. At point of winner notification, the winner will be asked to supply a valid UK postal address for the prize to be sent to. Prize will be despatched within 28 days of supply of this information.
4.3    In the event the claim for the prize is not received by the promoter within 28 days of prize notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.

5    Copyright
The entrant assigns to the Promoter all copyright, all rights in the nature of copyright and all other intellectual property rights of any photograph entered into this competition as a result of this Contract, including those ultimately selected for inclusion in the competition.

5.1     The name and county of the winner will be available on this page within 3 months of the closing date. By entering this promotion, you consent to the use of this information being used in this manner.

5.2     The winner agrees to reasonable post-event publicity by the promoter with no further recompense.

6    General
6.1          Assignment and subcontracting. The Promoter may at any time deal in any manner with all or  Contract to any third party. The Customer shall not, without the prior written consent of the Supplier dispose of in any other manner with its rights or obligations under the Contract.

6.2       Notices. Any notice or other communication required to be given to a party under or in  connection with this Contract shall be in writing and may include email and fax, which shall be deemed to be served immediately, or post which shall be deemed to be served two Business Days after postage.

6.3      Waiver. If the Supplier fails to insist that the Customer performs any of its obligations under these Terms or delays in doing so, that will not mean that the Supplier has waived its rights against the Supplier. A waiver of any right under the Contract is only effective if it is in writing and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach or default.

6.4     Severance. Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

6.5     No partnership or agency. Nothing in the Contract shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or joint venture of any kind between any of the parties and no party shall have authority to act as agent for, or to bind, the other party in any way.

6.6     Third parties. A person who is not a party to the Contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.

6.7     Variation. Except as set out in these Conditions, any variation to the Contract shall only be binding when agreed in writing and signed by the Supplier.

6.8     These Terms are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
